IRBS successfully implements Robotic Cell for CNC Tending in Texas Arai, improving production of two CNCs with only one robot. For this turnkey solution IRBS developed a double gripper to improve cycle time and a fixture to pick and place the parts from the opposite side for parts that require more than one operation. IRBS also integrated a Artificial Vision System for the Pick and Place without relying on position devices. The productive improvements of this cell: Increase 60% of the monthly production; Standardization on quality of the final pieces; Improved quality of work of its employees; 100 % increase in productivity of employees.
